Hi! I’m Coach Encina the Physical Education teacher here at JP LeNoir. I have over ten years of experience working with children of all ages from PREK-5th. My PE program is one that incorporates inventive activities and challenges to promote an active lifestyle in and outside of school for all grades. My objective is to help students develop and enhance motor skills, improve health and skill-related fitness, and establish healthy food choices. Aside from supporting students’ physical development, it is my goal to help students cultivate their intellectual and social-emotional development as well. Ultimately, I aspire to create lifelong habits that inspire my students to seek a lifetime of being active and healthy.
