  • Assists the Principal in achieving high quality academic instruction and performance in all academic departments, supervises the Math and Special Education Departments and manages all testing and data evaluation on campus.

     Provides leadership in all aspects of testing and data evaluation including:

    Provides campus accountability in 8th Grade GPCs, ARDS-Lifeskills,, LPAC-MOY, STAAR, and RTI-MATH, STAAR, TELPAS

  • Welcome Seminoles to the Sauceda Middle School Reservation!  I am excited and pleased to see everyone again for the 2020-2021 school year.   

    I am your Dean of Instruction and have offered my sincere dedication to Donna I.S.D. for the past 22 years.  I began my career as a middle school History teacher in 1998 at W. A. Todd.  In 2000 I was one of the honored teachers to open Veterans Middle School.   I served as department chair and team leader during my 8 years as a teacher.  In 2005 I left Veterans Middle School to serve as the GEAR UP facilitator at Sauceda Middle School where I was given the privilege to follow a cohort of students from 7th grade to 12th grade.  In 2011 I left Donna High School to return to Sauceda Middle School as Dean of Instruction.   

    Nothing pleases me more than to see students begin with our middle school program and witness them blossom into teenagers ready to begin high school.   Sauceda Middle School offers many opportunities for students to become high school ready and college bound.  During my 10 years here at Sauceda we have advocated to offer high school courses to our students to advance further in their educational career.  We offer elective classes that challenge our students to compete and win at various events.  We take pride in offering a variety of courses that reach all types of students.  2020 Sauceda Middle School will offer STEAM classes to our students and I am excited to witness the opportunities these classes will bring about. 

    Sauceda Middle School is a family of teachers, students, parents, counselors, custodians, cafeteria staff, administrative assistants and administrators ready and willing to educate the new generation of students of Donna I.S.D.  We hope you will take advantage of all the opportunities our campus has to offer and enjoy your stay here on the reservation.
